CHAKRAS – The Gateway to Consciousness
The Sanskrit word meaning wheel of light, chakras are subtle energy channels which connect the energy of the physical body with that of the subtle body. They are described as spinning vortexes of subtle energy. In spiritual people they spin very fast and become spheres of radiant energy. Good health is said to be dependent on each chakra functioning properly. However, they can become unbalanced and this can manifest itself as physical, mental, emotional or spiritual disturbances. The placing of corresponding crystals on each chakra is said to help balance them. Additionally, a person’s spirit and soul can become receptive and communicate with cosmic energies. Balancing them and making them receptive to the Divine Universe is not only beneficial to wellbeing but also the only way of uniting the Individual Soul with the Universe Soul.
